Review aligns to the release of the CGI Client Global Insights on the digital trends and priorities of 1,300 business and IT client executives

MONTRÉAL, Dec. 22, 2017 - CGI (TSX: GIB.A) (NYSE: GIB) today announced the publication of the 2017 Annual Review, which comes following the release of the 2017 CGI Client Global Insights that includes findings from in-person discussions with 1,300 business and IT leaders across 10 industries and 17 countries to identify the trends affecting their organizations. The Annual Review captures highlights of CGI's performance throughout the year in helping clients evolve and meet the digital expectations of their customers and citizens. This maps directly to the Insights' top trend, which demonstrates an increased urgency to become digital organizations to meet rising customer expectations at 85%, up from 71% in 2016.

The CGI Client Global Insights provide a benchmark by which clients can plan their digital transformation. In 2016, 12% of the client executives interviewed had an enterprise-wide digital strategy in place. This number accelerated to 40% in 2017, reinforcing the momentum of digital transformation globally. The Annual Review highlights how CGI is helping clients embrace the rapid change of technology taking place to help accelerate their transformation, and CGI's performance in building on more than four decades of sustained growth.

"The growth we have achieved over the past decades is a credit to our strong culture, operational discipline, innovation and end-to-end capabilities," said George D. Schindler, President and Chief Executive Officer. "All of these attributes provide the foundation for serving as our clients' partner and expert of choice amidst the technology-driven transformation that is underway. CGI is one of the few firms with the scale, reach and capabilities required to help clients succeed."

The 2017 Annual Review includes a summary of CGI's partnerships with clients, including numerous testimonials and examples of services and solutions delivered throughout the year. It also highlights the work we do to support the hundreds of communities in which our professionals live and work, as we help organizations embrace digital strategies and technologies to benefit those in their care.
